IBU PENJUAL PECEL SUMBANGKAN TABUNGAN UMRAHNYA UNTUK PENANGANAN COVID-19

KANIGARAN – Sunarsih, 58 tahun, memang kesehariannya hanya berjualan nasi pecel di rumah dengan pendapatan yang pas-pasan. Tapi, jiwa kemanusiaannya begitu luar biasa dan patut menjadi contoh. Ia memilih menyumbangkan uang koin tabungan umrah untuk menangani dampak COVID 19 di Kota Probolinggo.

Naik motor sendirian, warga Blok Sepeni RT 4, RW 5 Kelurahan Kademangan, Kecamatan Kademangan itu mendatangi Kantor Wali Kota Probolinggo di Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Senin (20/4) siang. Sambil berjalan perlahan, dengan membawa tabungan berisi uang koin, ia mengutarakan keinginannya itu.

“Saya lihat di televisi ada anak kecil kayak cucu saya menyumbang untuk virus korona. Anak kecil saja bisa mikir korona, apalagi saya yang dewasa. Saya punya tabungan, kenapa kok tidak saya sumbangkan saja. Karena takut kena tipu, saya ke kantor pemkot saja,” ceritanya.

Sunarsih menceritakan, uang koin di dalam celengan plastik yang diberi tulisan “Bismillah Barokah Aamiin” itu, ia kumpulkan sekitar 3 tahun lalu. Atau sejak kali pertama ia mengenal yang koin senilai seribu rupiah, setiap hari ia masukkan duit koinnya itu ke celengan.

Ibu tiga orang anak ini hanya berjualan dengan pendapatan pas-pasan, kenapa ia memilih tetap menyumbangkan uangnya alih-alih untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari? “Ini uangnya tidak seberapa, dan semoga menjadi barokah. Kalau makan sehari-hari ya seadanya,” jawabnya.

Sunarsih pun mengaku, pandemi COVID-19 berdampak pada hasil jualannya. Bila sebelum pandemi ia bisa menghabiskan 5 kg beras, sekarang hanya 3 kg. Selain itu, rencana tabungan umrahnya pun akhirnya tertunda karena ia memilih menyumbangkan uang tersebut.

“Tidak apa-apa (tidak jadi nabung umrah), insyaallah ada jalan lain. Harapan saya semoga uang yang saya berikan ini bermanfaat. Uangnya tidak seberapa tapi saya ikhlas bisa membantu,” tutur istri dari tukang kayu ini.

Apresiasi dari Wali Kota

Kedatangan Sunarsih disambut Wali Kota Hadi Zainal Abidin dan Sekda drg Ninik Ira Wibawati. Disela-sela rapatnya, wali kota izin keluar ruangan untuk bertemu dengan Sunarsih. Rasa bahagia dan haru pun diungkapkan orang nomor satu di Kota Probolinggo itu melihat salah satu warganya punya niatan seperti itu.

“Ya, saya kedatangan tamu berhati mulia. Yang mana pekerjaan beliau berjualan nasi pecel, menyisihkan hari ke hari uang untuk ke tanah suci. Melihat perkembangan virus korona ini hatinya tergugah untuk ikut andil,” tutur Habib Hadi –sapaan wali kota-.

Atas nama Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo, wali kota memberikan apresiasi dan salut akan kemuliaan hati Sunarsih. Bantuan dari Sunarsih yang diperkirakan sekitar Rp2 juta itu akan diwujudkan bantuan yang bermanfaat untuk masyarakat.

“Sekecil apapun bantuan, itu sangat bermakna. Selain menjaga kesehatan, ikuti anjuran pemerintah dan mari berbagi rejeki untuk saling membantu. Saat inilah kita saling bahu membahu untuk semua. Saya bangga dan terharu dengan adanya ini, mudah-mudahan menjadi contoh bagi yang lain,” ujar Wali Kota Habib Hadi. (famydecta)

 


Sunarsih, a 58-year-old woman does indeed sell pecel at home for daily living with a mediocre income. But, her spirit of humanity is so extraordinary and should be an example. She chose to donate her Umrah savings coins to deal with the effects of COVID 19 in Probolinggo city.

 

Riding on a motorcycle alone, the resident of the Sepeni Block RT 4, RW 5 Kademangan urban village, Kademangan Sub-district came to the Probolinggo Mayor's Office on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Monday (4/20) afternoon. While walking slowly, by carrying savings with coins, she expressed her desire.

"I saw on television that there were kids at my grandchildren aged donating to the coronavirus. Even children can think of corona, then I am as an adult can do the same thing. I have savings, why don't I just donate. As I am afraid of being tricked, I just went to the city government office," she said.

Sunarsih said, the coins in a plastic piggy bank which was written "Bismillah Barokah Aamiin", has been collected for about 3 years. Or since the first time, she knew a coin worth a thousand rupiahs, every day he put the coins into the piggy bank.

The mother of three children only a seller with a mediocre income, why does she choose to continue to contribute money instead of daily needs? "This is not much, but hopefully be a blessing," she replied.

Sunarsih also admitted that the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on its sales income. If before the pandemic she could spend 5 kg of rice, now only 3 kg. In addition, her Umrah savings plan was eventually delayed because she chose to donate the money.

"It's okay (not saving Umrah), God willing, there is another way. I hope that the money I give is useful. The money is not much but I sincerely want to help," said the wife of the carpenter.

Appreciation from the Mayor

Sunarsih's arrival was welcomed by Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin and Regional Secretary drg. Ninik Ira Wibawati. In the middle of a meeting, the mayor permitted to leave the room to meet Sunarsih. Happiness and emotion were also expressed by the mayor seeing one of the residents have such intentions.

"Yes, I have a noble-hearted guest, who is selling pecel food, setting aside a day to day money to go to the holy land. Seeing the development of the coronavirus, her heart was moved to take part," said the mayor, popularly known Habib Hadi.

On behalf of the Probolinggo city administration, the mayor gave his appreciation and salute the glory of Sunarsih's heart. Assistance from Sunarsih which is estimated to be around IDR 2 million will be realized in assistance that would be beneficial to the community.

"No matter how small the assistance, it is very meaningful. In addition to maintaining health, follow the government's recommendations, and let's share our fortune to help each other.
