KESERUAN KTS KADEMANGAN PERMATA REGENCY DI MINGGU PAGI

2019-2020

Ia juga mengingatkan tentang new normal. “Jangan sampai new normal merubah mindset bahwa COVID 19 telah berlalu. Alhamdulillah disini sudah terbentuk Kampung Tangguh Semeru. Sesuai harapan beliau (wali kota) jangan sampai sifatnya hanya ceremonial.

IMG 20200614 WA0032Saat meninjau stand UMKM, Wali Kota Habib Hadi menyampaikan pesan agar warga memasarkan produknya melalui media sosial (medsos).

(famydecta)

Probolinggo Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin and Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri along with the head of working units had a biking ride to Kampung Tangguh Semeru (KDS) Kademangan Permata regency, on Sunday (14/6).

Arriving at the village in Sumber Wetan urban village, Kedopok sub-district, Mayor Habib Hadi-Vice Mayor Soufis Subri officially launched the checkpoint which is an entry point of the village. At the entrance point, a sign is hung out telling that wearing a mask is a must for everyone entering the area, everyone must stop for 10 seconds to be sprayed with disinfectant, and to wash their hands using soap.

On that occasion, Vice Mayor Subri said that people must be aware of COVID-19 pandemic, especially the elderly people and children who have a high risk of getting infected with the virus and must apply COVID-19 health protocols.

He also explained about ‘new normal’ era. “New normal does not mean that COVID-19 has ended. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), we have another Kampung Tangguh. As the mayor expects, don’t let this effort ended in a ceremonial event. And, we also hope that there is nobody here would be infected with the virus,” he said.

The event was then continued with having a gymnastics before reviewing the SME booths, selling various food and beverages. The residents can also donate their blood and undergo a rapid test for free, facilitated by Kedopok Community Health Center (Puskesmas).

As the mayor reviewed the booths, he urged people to put their products into social media. “Upload your products on social media (Facebook, Instagram) because social media has been an option of marketing media for SMEs,” he said.

An interesting moment happened when Habib Hadi and Subri stopped by a cilok (an Indonesian ball-shaped dumpling made from tapioca starch, a Sundanese snack originated from West Java, Indonesia) seller. Both were in line, waiting to buy the legendary snack most people love to eat.

“It reminds my childhood when I bought cilok every day,” the mayor said.

“It tastes good,” said the vice mayor after having the first bite on the snack. The mayor admitted it has been a long time (20 years) since he ate cilok for the last time.  (alfien_tr)
