Kita semua punya kewajiban menyosialisasikan protokol kesehatan,” imbaunya. (famydecta)
Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Probolinggo city administration has again disbursed incentives to 1,000 Quran teachers and Sunday School teachers, for the second quarter, on Wednesday (2/9). This is a form of commitment of Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin - Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri to the public in realizing their political promises.
The amount received was IDR 200,000 per month and was disbursed in every quarter of the year. The first quarter was given at the official residence several months ago. "Currently, even during the pandemic, the mayor has concerns to provide incentives to the teachers. Hopefully, it will become a blessing and give benefits to all," explained the Head of the Education and Culture Agency, M Maskur in his report.
The incentives were symbolically handed out to some representatives, in Puri Manggala Bhakti, with health protocols in a priority. The event was attended by the Government Affairs Assistant Paeni, representatives of the Ministry of Trade, the head of the TPQ, churches, and monasteries in Probolinggo City.
Mayor Habib Hadi stated education is a priority program stipulated in the 1945 Constitution which states that one of the objectives of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is to educate the nation's life. And, every citizen of Indonesia has the right to obtain quality education services according to their interests and talents regardless of social status, race, ethnicity, religion, and gender. "All religious institutions, we embrace all of them, Muslims or non-Muslim to work together in the responsibility of educating our children," he said.
The role of education, Habib Hadi continued, can be realized with an education pattern that has the ability to develop creativity and civilization, supports the dissemination of excellence values, and develops sustainable creative and productive performance with moral and spiritual values.
"By the law and the commitment of the regional head, we must pay attention to religious education that must be nurtured from an early age for children. Moral guidance from early childhood education is important, without religious values, it will only result in immorality. That is the government's commitment, not only think about the education but education personnel must also receive attention," explained the mayor.
According to the mayor, the city administration's attention to educators, if seen from the nominal, may not be proportional to their sincerity in teaching children. "Although this is a small number, this attention is important, hopefully in the future, we can increase the amount," Habib Hadi hoped, who from the beginning stated that he did not want any differences between Muslims or non-Muslim, but he has the desire to embrace all for the development of Probolinggo City.
The mayor, who is also the Chairperson of the Probolinggo City COVID-19 Task Force, hopes that all can understand what is currently happening in the world, including Probolinggo City. "Implementing health protocols, because I don't want any teachers or students to be exposed to COVID-19. We all have an obligation to promote health protocols," he appealed. (alfien_tr)
