MAYANGAN – Sri Anjayati menangis.
“Matur sakalangkong, Kiai.
(famydecta)
Sri Anjayati was crying. With her limited ability to see, the 57-year-old grandmother sobbed while cupping her palms when Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin visited her house on Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Jatiurban village, Mayangan Sub-district on Wednesday (12/8).
"Matur sakalangkong, Kiai. (Thank you, Kiai), ”said Sri to Mayor Habib Hadi, who came along with the Acting Director of RSUD Dr. Mohamad Saleh Dr. Abraar HS Kuddah and Head of Mayangan Sub-district M Abas and Head of Jati urban village Endah Dwi Kumalasari. In the house right in front of the train tracks, Sri lives with her son, Ilham Agung Setyo Wicaksono, who is in sixth grade of elementary school MI.
Mayor Habib Hadi came to Sri and Agung's house to give him a new BPJS Health card. This was in response to a report telling that Sri's BPJS status was dead. "Their BPJS cards have been updated by the city administration. This Indonesia Sehat card is included in the city administration's UHC (Universal Health Coverage) program. You can use it for health facilities, and for the school, it’s free of charge, isn’t it?” said Habib Hadi.
With the new card, Sri can have a cataract eye surgery tomorrow (13/8) morning at the Dr. Mohamad Saleh Regional Hospital. "Hopefully it will be successful, smooth and she can be recovered soon. The important thing is please keep on praying, "said Habib Hadi to Sri who kept crying emotionally.
Habib Hadi said that he received information that there were residents in Jati urban village who lived with disabilities, had visual impairments, and was only accompanied by a child. The mayor immediately asked the urban village head and ranks to check in the field to trace the report.
And, it turns out that the info is correct. The community health center Puskesmas was also asked to immediately control Sri's health condition and it was stated that there was a need for further examination at the hospital. Examined at the eye clinic, it was mentioned that there was a problem with his left eye diagnosed with cataracts. Meanwhile, the right eye has been unable to see for a long time. "And, hopefully, the left eye can be helped so that vision returns to normal," said Habib Hadi.
Seeing this condition, Mayor Habib Hadi emphasized to the whole community, RT, RW not to hesitate to report if something similar was found in the city. "We do not want a mother, alone, without any attention from the government. Let us know the information so that we can quickly take policies according to the existing regulations," he said.
According to the head of Jati urban village Endah Dwi Kumalasari, Sri lives with Agung, who has been adopted for a long time. Sri's husband died a year ago due to heart disease. "Sri has got other assistance including PKH and KIP. Currently, we are trying to provide other assistance for her needs," said the former Head of Public Relations section. (alfien_tr)
