POLI RSUD DIBUKA, TERAPKAN PROTOKOL KESEHATAN DEMI KENYAMANAN MASYARAKAT

2019-2020

MAYANGAN – Menuju new normal, RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh Kota Probolinggo telah membuka pelayanan rawat jalan poli.

(famydecta)

Ahead of ‘new normal’, regional hospital RSUD Dr. Mohamad Saleh, Probolinggo City has opened the polyclinic services. With the application of appropriate health protocols, people who will seek treatment are expected not to be afraid of being infected with COVID 19.

This was delivered in a discussion with journalists attended by Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin and Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri, on Friday (12/6). The program implementing health protocol was initiated by the hospital, followed by management and health workers.

During the meeting, Acting Director of RSUD Dr. Mohamad Saleh, Dr. Abraar explained that nurses and journalists were equally responsible for providing education to the public regarding the COVID 19 pandemic, with their respective roles.

"Together, we provide education about the ‘new normal’ era. How to respond and what must be prepared. Because no one knows when COVID-19 will end," said dr. Abraar.

The hospital has also prepared a scheme to deal with COVID 19 so that people are not afraid of coming to the hospital. All polyclinics are opened as usual; some from Monday to Friday or Monday to Thursday. Even though it has been opened, the policy will continue to be evaluated by management.

Every patient going to the clinic must undergo a series of health protocols. This includes undergoing body temperature checks using a thermal gun, washing hands with water and soap in the space provided, and to wear a mask to the line that applies physical distancing.

"The polyclinics are opened, we are preparing for screening. We will have an evaluation every day. We will restrict the patient companion because ‘new normal’ does not mean to go back to the old days. But there is a health protocol that must be implemented," said dr. Abraar.

Meanwhile, Mayor Habib Hadi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the COVID 19 health team. "Alhamdulillah, there was zero patient, but there is more. It's okay, keep up the spirit. Because you all become the foundation of dealing with the patients," he said proudly.

To the community, the mayor hopes to give full trust to the hospital in dealing with patients whether they are ordinary or COVID-19 patients. He said patients are asked to be honest with medical workers to get proper treatment.

Vice Mayor Subri also gave enthusiasm for the hospital to continue to strive to provide maximum service while waiting for the new hospital to open. "The working hours of medical workers must be well arranged. Otherwise, their health and immune can be decreasing and this can be dangerous," said Subri. (alfien_tr)
