KANIGARAN – Komitmen Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo di masa kepemimpinan Wali Kota Hadi Zainal Abidin dan Wawali Mochammad Soufis Subri dalam mengimplementasikan sistem jaminan sosial di wilayahnya patut diacungi jempol. Dalam Perubahan APBD 2020 nanti, ribuan Pegawai Tidak Tetap (PTT), ketua RT/RW dan guru ngaji bakal ikut program jaminan sosial.
“Secara bertahap dan terstruktur kami optimalkan kemampuan APBD dari berbagai sumber dan jenis pendanaan untuk Jaminan Keselamatan Kerja (JKK) dan Jaminan Kematian (JKM) untuk PTT, ketua RT/RW dan guru ngaji,” ujar Wali Kota Habib Hadi, saat FGD dan Penandatanganan Kesepakatan Bersama antara Pemkot Probolinggo dengan BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, di Command Center, Kamis (9/7) siang.
Wali Kota meyakini, dengan akad kerjasama ini merupakan tahapan krusial hadirnya pemerintah dalam memberikan kesejahteraan kepada tenaga PTT, ketua RT/RW dan guru ngaji. Ke depan, pemberian jaminan sosial ini berkembang bagi penerima manfaat lainnya seperti pelaku UMKM, abang becak dan nelayan.
Orang nomor satu di Kota Probolinggo ini mendukung sepenuhnya rumusan peraturan wali kota terkait jaminan sosial ketenagakerjaan. “Selanjutnya, saya berharap segera disusun draft perda tentang jaminan sosial yang didalamnya meliputi bidang kesehatan sekaligus ketenagakerjaan. Saya mendorong inovasi ini sebagai komitmen pemerintah kepada masyarakatnya,” kata Habib Hadi.
FGD siang itu juga dihadiri Wawali Mochammad Soufis Subri, Asisten Deputi Bidang Kepesertaan Kanwil Jawa Timur Andre J.Tuameli, Kepala BPJS Cabang Pasuruan, sejumlah kepala OPD terkait. Pada kesempatan itu, juga ada penyerahan simbolis santunan kematian dari BPJS Ketenagakerjaan KCP Probolinggo untuk ahli waris Almarhumah Holipah senilai Rp 42 juta (Gereka Kristen Abdiel Anugerah) dan ahli waris almarhum Sundaka (PDAM Kota Probolinggo) senilai Rp 24 juta.
“Kegiatan ini merupakan sinergitas BPJS dengan Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo. Dimana pemerintah daerah mempunyai inovasi mengentas kemiskinan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat, agar masyarakat mendapat jaminan sosial sesuai dengan yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah,” jelas Andre J.Tuameli dalam sambutannya.
Di ujung acara, BPJS menyerahkan secara simbolis donasi 2 ton beras sebagai wujud kepedulian BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Pasuruan untuk warga terdampak COVID 19 di Kota Probolinggo. “Kami mengapresiasi donasi yang dibagikan kepada warga yang berhak, khususnya terdampak COVID 19,” imbuh Wali Kota Habib Hadi. Probolinggo city administration, under the leadership of Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin and Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri, has shown its commitment to implementing the social security system in their region. In the 2020 local budget (APBD) Amendment, thousands of Non-Permanent Employees (PTT), RT / RW heads, and Koran teachers will join to receive the social security program.
"Gradually and in a structured manner, we will optimize the capacity of the APBD from various sources and types of funding for Work Safety Guarantee (JKK) and Death Security (JKM) for PTT, RT / RW heads and Koran teachers," said Mayor Habib Hadi, during FGD and Signing of Joint Agreement between the Probolinggo city administration and worker social security BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, at the Command Center on Thursday (9/7) afternoon.
The mayor believes that the cooperation agreement is a crucial stage, showing the government’s commitment to providing welfare to PTT employees, heads of RT / RW, and Koran teachers. In the future, the provision of social security will develop for other beneficiaries such as MSME actors, becak drivers, and fishermen.
The mayor fully supports the formulation of the mayor's regulations regarding employment social security. "Furthermore, I hope that a draft of regional regulation on social security will soon be completed, which includes both the health and employment sectors. I encourage this innovation as a commitment of the government to its people," said Habib Hadi.
That afternoon FGD was also attended by Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri, Assistant Deputy for Participation at the East Java Regional Office, Andre J. Tuameli, Head of BPJS Pasuruan Branch, a number of related working unit heads. On that occasion, there was also a symbolic handover of compensation for death from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan KCP Probolinggo for the heirs of the late Holipah worth IDR 42 million (Abdiel Anugerah Church) and the heirs of the late Sundaka (PDAM Kota Probolinggo) worth IDR 24 million.
"This activity is a synergy between BPJS and the city administration. The local government has innovations to alleviate poverty and increase community welfare so that people receive social security as determined by the government," explained Andre J. Tuameli in his speech.
At the end of the event, BPJS symbolically donated 2 tons of rice as a form of concern for residents impacted by COVID 19 in Probolinggo City. "We appreciate the donations distributed to eligible citizens, especially those affected by COVID 19," added Mayor Habib Hadi. (alfien_tr)
