KEDOPOK – Wali Kota Probolinggo Hadi Zainal Abidin meninjau jalan berlumpur yang sempat viral di media sosial (medsos) beberapa waktu lalu, di Jalan Bambu, RT 1 RW 1 Kelurahan Kareng Lor, Kecamatan Kedopok. Saat ini, di jalan tersebut masih dilakukan pembersihan menggunakan alat berat eksavator.
Jalan lingkungan itu sempat menjadi perhatian masyarakat setelah seseorang meng-unggah di medsos. Diketahui, bahwa jalan itu sebenarnya sudah beraspal. Namun ketika hujan, kondisi jalan yang lebih rendah akan terendam lumpur yang meluap dari ladang/sawah yang posisinya lebih tinggi. Endapan lumpur mencapai sekitar 40 cm.
“Jalannya dibaguskan, Pak Wali,” cetus salah seorang warga yang bertemu Wali Kota Habib Hadi di lokasi, Kamis (23/1) siang.
“Ya, akan kita carikan solusi agar tidak terjadi (endapan lumpur) lagi. Ini akan menjadi jalan tembus,” jawab Wali Kota Habib Hadi, sembari menunjuk ke arah ladang yang ada di sisi utara.
Pasalnya, ladang tersebut merupakan milik pengairan yang beralih fungsi menjadi lahan pertanian. Untuk itu, dengan kekompakan dan rasa empati warga, masyarakat menyadari pentingnya jalan tembus tersebut.”Insyaallah mudah-mudahan dengan kekompakan warga ini bisa terwujud,” imbuhnya.
Edi Susanto dari Dinas PUPR dan Perkim yang ditemui di lokasi menyebutkan, bahwa saat ini pembersihan baru bisa dilakukan karena pihaknya baru melakukan rembug warga terkait solusi di Jalan Bambu itu.
“Akhirnya warga kompak memutuskan ada jalan baru itu. Sebenarnya ini bukan banjir tapi luapan dari lahan pertanian yang ada di kanan kiri jalan. Sedikit air yang masuk ke jalan ini karena sudah ada pembuangan di area tol,” jelasnya.
Kepada Kepala Dinas PUPR dan Perkim Agus Hartadi, Habib Hadi meminta pembersihan segera diselesaikan dan menindaklanjuti rencana jalan tembus di lingkungan yang berbatasan dengan Kelurahan Sumber Wetan itu.
“Pak Lurah segera dicatat dan dikumpulkan warganya, nanti insyaallah saya akan hadir. Pelebaran jalan bila diperlukan segera dilaksanakan,” kata wali kota kepada Lurah Kareng Lor. Sidak siang itu juga dihadiri Camat Kedopok Imam Cahyadi.
Menanggapi solusi tersebut, warga menyambut baik rencana wali kota untuk memperbaiki, memperlebar dan membuat jalan tembus. “Nanti rencananya mau di aspal sama Pak Wali, lalu diplengseng juga,” kata Ketua RT, Neman. (famydecta)
Probolinggo Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin inspected the muddy road on Jl Bambu RT1 RW 1, Kareng Lor urban village, Kedopok Sub-district, being viral on the social media recently. The road is now in a cleaning process using heavy equipment, excavators.
Someone has uploaded the neighborhood road on social media. It has originally asphalt-covered but when the rain falls, the road position which is lower than the wet field makes it flooded with mud.
“We need the road to be fixed,” one of the residents said to Mayor Habib Hadi on Thursday (23/1).
“We will find a solution to this problem. We will make it into a translucent road,” the mayor answered the resident while pointing at the wet field on the north side.
The wet field was used for irrigation which is now has been turned into as an agricultural field. Therefore, the mayor expects the residents to be compact and realize the importance of the translucent road. “God willing, hopefully, we will fix the problem together with the people,” he added.
One of the Public Works and Urban Planning officers, Edi Susanto, met at the location said that the cleaning process can just be done because he waited for the result of the discussion with the residents.
“Finally, they agree to have the translucent road. This is not a flood coming from the wet field. Thanks to the disposal pipe in the toll area, less water coming to the road,” he explained.
The head of Public Works and Urban Planning Agency, Agus Hartadi asked the cleaning process to be completed and materializing the plan of having the translucent road.
“The head of the urban village needs to record the result of this meeting and assemble the residents for having another meeting; I will be there as well. If necessary, we will widen the road,” said the mayor to the head or Kareng Lor urban village. The inspection was also attended by the head of Kedopok Sub-district, Imam Cahyadi.
Responding to the solution, the residents have agreed to the mayor’s plan to fix, widen, and have the translucent road. “The mayor would have it asphalt-covered, with drainage installed as well,” said the chairman of RT, Neman. (alfien_tr)
