KANIGARAN – Sekretaris Daerah Kota Probolinggo drg Ninik Ira Wibawati bersama para asisten, kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) dan camat di lingkungan Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo serta Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) setempat Heri Sulistio mengikuti agenda Rilis Bersama Data Sensus Penduduk 2020 dan Data Administrasi Kependudukan 2020 Menuju Satu Data Kependudukan Indonesia secara virtual di Command Center Kantor Wali Kota, Kamis (21/1).
Rilis tersebut diselenggarakan Badan Pusat Statistik dan Kementerian Dalam Negeri di Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta. Sejumlah pejabat Negara mengikuti rilis yang juga disaksikan oleh gubernur, bupati dan wali kota di seluruh Indonesia.
Mewakili Menteri Dalam Negeri, Sekretaris Jenderal Kementerian Dalam Negeri, Muhammad Hudori, menyampaikan “Sensus Penduduk 2020 telah sukses dilaksanakan oleh BPS dan dilanjutkan sinkronisasi dengan hasil konsiliasi data dari 514 Kabupaten/Kota di Indonesia yang dikelola oleh Direktorat Jenderal Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kementerian Dalam Negeri. Data kependudukan ini bermanfaat untuk mendukung kegiatan pelayanan publik, perencanaan dan pembangunan, alokasi anggaran, pembangunan demokrasi, penegakan hukum dan pencegahan kriminal.
Dalam pemaparan Muhammad Hudori, data jumlah penduduk Indonesia periode hingga Desember 2020 sebesar 271.349.889 jiwa dengan komposisi 137.119.901 perempuan dan 134.229.988 laki-laki serta 86.437.053 keluarga. Adapun sebaran penduduk Indonesia, di Pulau Jawa dihuni oleh 55,94 persen, Sumatera 21,36 persen, Sulawesi 7,43 persen, Kalimantan 6,13 persen, Bali Nusra (Nusa Tenggara) 5,50 persen dan Papua 2,02 persen dan Maluku 1,17 persen.
Seperti yang disampaikan oleh Kepala Badan Pusat Statistik RI Suhariyanto bahwa hasil sensus penduduk 2020 ini merupakan komitmen kerjasama pertama kalinya yang dilaksanakan antara Kementerian Dalam Negeri dengan Badan Pusat Statistik. “Kolaborasi yang saling melengkapi sehingga bisa memberikan data bagi perencanaan di berbagai bidang,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, usai menyaksikan rilis data kependudukan 2020, Sekda drg. Ninik Ira Wibawati menyampaikan, data dari BPS sangat penting untuk membangun rencana kedepan di Kota Probolinggo. “Kami memiliki kebutuhan data untuk mendukung program TPID (Tim Pengendali Inflasi Daerah) dan juga untuk menyusun revisi RPJMD, nah data ini yang akan kami gunakan,” jelasnya.
Sementara Kepala BPS Kota Probolinggo, Heri Sulistio menambahkan, setelah rilis data Nasional, segera akan dilaksanakan rilis data di tingkat Provinsi Jawa Timur dan di seluruh Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Timur. Terkait dengan tingkat partisipasi masyarakat Kota Probolinggo pada sensus penduduk tahun 2020 disebutkan begitu luar biasa.
“Alhamdulillah luar biasa partisipasi masyarakat Kota Probolinggo, khususnya sejak adanya sensus penduduk metode online yang mencapai angka partisipasi 30 persen. Walaupun pandemi, sensus penduduk metode offline-pun berjalan lancar, tentunya ini tidak lepas dari dukungan Pemerintah Kota Probolinggo, OPD dan camat yang berada di tengah masyarakat,” kata Heri. Regional Secretary drg Ninik Ira Wibawati along with other government officials and the Head of Probolinggo city’s Statistics Indonesia Heri Sulistio participated in a Joint Release of Population Census Data 2020 and Population Administration 2020 Towards One Indonesia Population Data, held virtually at the Command Centre, city hall on Thursday (21/1).
The release was held by Statistics Indonesia (BPS) and the Ministry of Home Affairs at Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta. Other state officials participated in the release which was also witnessed by governors, regents, and mayors throughout Indonesia.
Secretariat General of Home Affairs Ministry, Muhammad Hudori who represented the Home Affairs Minister said that Population Census 2020 has been successfully carried out by the BPS before it was continued with a data synchronization of 514 regencies/cities in Indonesia, organized by the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registry of Home Affairs Ministry. The population data will be provided to support public service activities, planning and development, budget allocation, democracy, law enforcement, and criminal act prevention.
On a presentation made by Muhammad Hudori, the population of Indonesia has reached 271,349,889 people in December 2020 with the composition of 137,119,901 women and 134,229,988 men, and 86,437,053 families. The island with the biggest population is Java (55.94%), Sumatera (21.36%), Sulawesi (7.43%), Kalimantan (6.13%), Bali Nusa Tenggara (5.5%), Papua (2.02%), and Maluku (1.17%).
As was said by the Head of Statistics Indonesia, Suhariyanto, the population census 2020 was the first collaboration made by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Statistics Indonesia. “A great collaboration, resulting in the data of planning in various fields,” he said.
Meanwhile, after watching the release, Regional Secretary Ninik Ira Wibawati said the data is significant in supporting the future development of Probolinggo city. “We need the data to support the program of TPID (Regional Inflation Controlling Team) and to complete the revision of the Regional Middle-term Development Plan (RPJMD),” she said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Probolinggo city’s Statistics Indonesia Heri Sulistio added, after the data had been released at the national level, another release at the regional level (East Java Province) will soon be carried out. He also said that the participation of Probolinggo city residents in the population census 2020 was great.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God), the people showed a great response in the last census, especially since we provided online census as the data showed that the participant has reached 30%. Despite the pandemic, the offline census was going well. This, of course, thanks to the support of the Probolinggo city administration, working units, and the head of sub-districts,” Heri said.
