MAYANGAN - Dalam rangka mendukung program kesejahteraan sosial, Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Timur bekerja sama dengan Dinas Sosial Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (Dinsos P3A) Kota Probolinggo mengadakan Penyuluhan Pencegahan Dampak Sosial COVID 19, Selasa (25/8).
Acara yang dibuka sekira pukul 9 pagi itu dihadiri Wakil Ketua TP PKK Diah Kristanti Soufis Subri bersama Kepala Dinsos P3A Kota Probolinggo Zainullah, Kepala Dinsos Provinsi Jatim Alwi yang diwakili Kepala Seksi Publikasi dan Penyuluhan Sosial Ana Suliswati, narasumber dari Dinas Kesehatan P2KB Wiwiet Indrawati dan narasumber dari Polresta Probolinggo Kota Kasat Binmas AKP Retno Utami.
Para peserta sosialisasi wajib mematuhi protokol kesehatan, selain memakai masker peserta dilakukan pengukuran suhu badan dan penggunaan hand sanitizer sekaligus menempati kursi berjarak di Pendapa Kecamatan Mayangan.
Peserta berasal dari unsur lurah, tokoh masyarakat, pilar-pilar sosial, perwakilan fatayat, muslimat, dan aisyah dengan komposisi minimal 30 persen berjenis kelamin perempuan untuk mendukung program pengarasutamaan gender.
Berbicara tentang dampak COVID 19 pasti dibenak banyak orang menimbulkan image negatif, namun image negatif itu ditepis oleh Wakil Ketua TP PKK Diah Kristanti Soufis Subri. Dalam sambutannya, Diah-sapaan akrabnya mengatakan dampak COVID 19 tidak hanya negatif, namun ada hikmah dibalik wabah ini. “Berbicara masalah dampak biasanya imagenya negatif, sejak 6 bulan terakhir pandemi COVIID 19 ini melanda, kita lebih banyak waktu untuk berkumpul dengan keluarga,” kata Diah-sapaan akrabnya.
“Ibu-ibu ini kembali ke fitrahnya, ibu sebagai madrasah pertama bagi anak-anaknya. Sebelum pandemi COVID 19 bertemu dengan keluarga agak susah, bapak dimana, ibu dimana dan anak dimana, tetapi karena adanya pandemi COVID 19 kita bisa berkumpul bersama keluarga dengan waktu luang lebih banyak,” lanjut Diah.
Masih menurut istri Wakil Wali Kota Mochammad Soufis Subri ini, peran ibu sangat penting dalam kehidupan, semisal contoh karena anak-anak harus sekolah di rumah (daring), biasanya diajarkan oleh bapak dan ibu guru, di masa pandemi COVID 19 ibu dituntut harus bisa menjadi guru yang baik di rumah. Selain itu, biasanya ibu-ibu tidak pernah memasak , bakat masak berada diurutan 8 karena pandemi COVID 19 bakat masaknya menjadi urutan kedua. “Naik peringkat menjadi peringkat ke- 2, Masya Allah chef-chef dadakan yang luar biasa,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Seksi Publikasi dan Penyuluhan Sosial Ana Suliswati menekankan kegiatan ini diharapkan peserta dapat menyampaikan amanah kepada warga masyarakat yang ada disekitarnya terkait adaptasi kebiasaan baru. Yakni, perubahan perilaku masyarakat untuk menjalankan aktivitas secara normal dengan penerapan protokol kesehatan yang tepat.
“Rentang waktu tidak bisa dipastikan kapan wabah COVID 19 ini berakhir, sebelum ditemukannya vaksin. Pemerintah mengajak pada masyarakat untuk melaksanakan kegiatan menerakan protokol kesehatan, seperti pada pusat perbelanjaan, tempat rekreasi dan tempat-tempat umum lainnya. Masyarakat beranggapan meragukan COVID 19 itu ada atau tidak? Kita harus tetap waspada diharapkan kedispilinan sudah menjadi kebiasaan. Karena wabah COVID 19 itu tidak terlihat oleh mata kita.” urainya. (dewi)

The event opened at 9 a.m. was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the PKK Diah Kristanti Soufis Subri with the Head of the Social Affairs Agency of Probolinggo city Zainullah, the Head of East Java Social Affairs Agency Alwi represented by the Head of Publications and Social Counseling section, Ana Suliswati, speakers from the Health Agency Wiwiet Indrawati and speakers from the Police Unit of Probolinggo City Retno Utami.
Participants are required to apply health protocols including wearing a mask, checking body temperature, using hand sanitizer at the hall of the Mayangan sub-district office.
Participants include the head of the urban village, community leaders, social pillars, representatives of fatayat, muslimat, and aisha with a composition of at least 30 percent of females to support the mainstreaming of gender.
Related to the COVID-19, most people think only the negative impact, but this has been denied by Deputy Chairman of the PKK, Diah Kristanti Soufis Subri. In her speech, Diah said the impact COVID-19 is not always a negative, but there is wisdom behind the outbreak. “Impact is always considered to be negative, but, since the last 6 months, we have more time to gather with family,” said Diah.
“Mothers are back to where they should be, as the first teacher for children. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, to gather with family was a bit difficult. They are busier with their own business. But since the pandemic, we can gather with families with more leisure time,” said Diah.
According to the wife of Vice Mayor Mochammad Soufis Subri, the role of a mother is very important in life. As is seen in the current condition when kids have a school-at-home method to follow. In this situation, a mother has to be a good teacher at home for their children. Besides, mothers who never cook for their family, are now learning to cook and consider it as a must-have talent. “They are now turning into great chefs,” she said.
Meanwhile, Head of Publications and Social Counseling section, Ana Suliswati emphasizes that the participants are expected to educate the surrounding people on the 'new normal' era, a situation requiring people to change their behavior to have normal activities with adopting proper health protocol.
“We don't know when the pandemic will end until the vaccine is found. The government asks the public to carry out activities with applying health protocol, such as in a shopping center, recreational areas, and other public places. People assume COVID-19 a controversy. We must remain vigilant, and the discipline of applying health protocol must be a habit from now on because coronavirus is invincible.” she said. (alfien_tr)
