After disbursing financial incentives for medical workers at the regional hospital dr. Mohamad Saleh Hospital, it’s the turn for 80 medical workers of Health Agency and community health center Puskesmas to receive the incentives on Thursday (13/8) for March, April and May.

The Assistant for Government Affairs Paeni and Acting Head of the Health Agency dr NH Hidayati and representatives of health workers were attending the ceremony.
In his report, Acting Head of Health Agency, dr. NH Hidayati, explained that this incentive came from the Ministry of Health's budget disbursed to Probolinggo city administration, as much as 60 percent of the existing budget. The ministry transferred funds worth Rp 1,836,000,000 divided by Rp. 1,114,613,636 for healthcare workers at the hospital.
"For the healthcare workers of the Health Agency and Puskesmas, it’s worth Rp. 663,635,997 given to 80 healthcare workers. The recipients are doctors, nurses, midwives, and tracing officers. A big thank you to the Mayor, regional secretary as the Head of TAPD and related agencies so that incentives for healthcare workers can be accepted by officers," said dr. Ida.
Meanwhile, Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin emphasized that so far healthcare workers have carried out stages in dealing with COVID-19 according to existing regulations. Since the beginning of 2020, the disease caused by coronavirus has spread worldwide. Meanwhile, the largest confirmed cases in Probolinggo city has been reported in July 2020.
Habib Hadi advised that commitment to provide the best health services for the community must be maintained. Healthcare workers to the tracing team have high challenges and risks when dealing with COVID-19, so they must strictly implement SOP and health protocols.
Currently, what is happening, continued Habib Hadi, is that people misinterpret the implementation of the ‘new normal’ era. "New normal means we have to wear masks; there is a (health) protocol we must apply. We all have to continue to make people understand about it," he explained.
The mayor also explained that the trend of the development of COVID-19 in the city is showing a significant decrease. The recovered rate reaches 80.9 percent. "Currently we are still considered as orange zone, but we are optimistic that the trend will continue to fall. Many urban villages classified green (zone). Hopefully soon the yellow zone will return to green," Habib Hadi expects.
Habib Hadi continues to urge people to stick to health protocols. "Outdoor activities are allowed but please take care of yourself, wear a mask. Otherwise, the green zone would not be realized," he said. (alfien_tr)
