KANIGARAN - Bertempat di Command Center Kantor Wali Kota Probolinggo, Jumat (14/8) siang, Wali Kota Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin didampingi Wakil Wali Kota Mochammad Soufis Subri, Sekda drg. Ninik Ira Wibawati beserta jajaran forkopimda dan beberapa Kepala Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) menyimak siaran langsung sidang tahunan MPR RI dan pidato kenegaraan Presiden RI dalam rangka HUT Kemerdekaan RI ke- 75 dalam sidang bersama DPR RI dan DPD RI secara virtual. Pada waktu yang sama, pidato kenegaraan Presiden RI secara virtual ini juga diikuti oleh kepala OPD se- Kota Probolinggo di masing-masing tempat kerjanya.
Pidato kenegaraan ini berlangsung di Gedung DPR Jakarta, Ruang Sidang Paripurna dipimpin langsung Presiden RI ke- 7 Joko Widodo didampingi Ketua MPR RI Zulkifli Hasan, Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani, Ketua DPD RI La Nyalla Mattalitti. Dalam pidato kenegaraannya Presiden Joko Widodo mengungkapkan sebanyak 215 negara tengah menghadapi pandemi COVID 19, krisis perekonomian dunia terparah dalam sejarah.
Jokowi menjelaskan kuartal pertama tahun 2020 pertumbuhan ekonomi negara plus 2,97 persen tetapi di kuartal kedua kita berada minus 5,32 persen. Kemunduran banyak negara-negara besar ini bisa menjadi peluang dan momentum bagi kita untuk mengejar ketertinggalan. Ibarat komputer perekonomian semua negara saat ini sedang macet, sedang hang. Semua negara harus menjalani proses mati komputer sesaat, harus melakukan restart, harus melakukan reputing dan semua negara mempnyai kesempatan, mensetting ulang semua sistem.
Ia menilai krisis pandemi COVID 19 ini sebagai momentum sebuah kebangkitan baru, untuk melakukan sebuah perubahan besar. Inilah saatnya kita membenahi diri secara fundamental, melakukan transformasi, menjalankan strategi besar dalam bidang ekonomi, pemerintahan, sosial, budaya termasuk kesehatan dan pendidikan.
“Menjadikan Indonesia setara dengan negara-negara maju. Menjadikan Indonesia Maju yang kita citacitakan. Dirgahayu Republik Indonesia! Dirgahayu Negeri Pancasila! Merdeka! Terima kasih,” pungkas Jokowi.
Masih di tempat yang sama, ditemui usai menyimak pidato kenegaraan Presiden Joko Widodo, Wali Kota Habib Hadi memberikan komentarnya. “Daerah dalam menghadapi situasi dan kondisi seperti ini (pandemi COVID 19) sesuai dengan arahan Presiden. Kami harus terus mengambil langkah-langkah kebijakan yang memang harus betul-betul memperhatikan situasi dan kondisi yang ada. Misal aspek ekonomi, sosial, budaya, peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi itu menjadi komitmen kami. Karena yang dihadapi adalah situasi dan kondisi yang dialami semua daerah,” tuturnya.
Merujuk negara kita minus 5.32 persen menjadi perhatian Habib Hadi dan ia pun ikut memberikan penilaiannya. “Tadi dikatakan perkembangan ekonomi secara nasional minus 5.32 persen, jadi kami terus melakukan langkah-langkah mendorong dan mengembangkan sektor ekonomi supaya bisa bangkit menghadapi situasi dan kondisi seperti ini,” tutupnya. At the same time, the head of the working units in Probolinggo City was also participating in the virtual state address of the President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The state address took place at the chambers of DPR Jakarta Building, with the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo leading the session, accompanied by the Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia Zulkifli Hasan, Speaker of DPR RI Puan Maharani, and Speaker of DPD RI La Nyalla Mattalitti. In his state address, President Joko Widodo revealed that as many as 215 countries worldwide are now facing the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to the worst world economic crisis in history.
Jokowi explained that in the first quarter of 2020, Indonesia’s economic growth has increased by 2.97%, but in the second quarter, the growth contracted by 5.32%. The setbacks of many of these great powers could be an opportunity and a momentum to catch up. The economic condition is analogous to a computer crash in which all countries are currently stuck. All countries must undergo a temporary shutdown, must restart, must perform reputations and all countries have the opportunity, resetting all systems.
He considered the COVID-19 pandemic crisis as momentum for a new awakening, to make big changes. This is the time to improve fundamentally, carry out the transformation, carry out major strategies in the economic, government, social, cultural fields including health and education.
"We must make Indonesia equal with developed countries, to make our country an Advanced Indonesia as we aspire to be. Long live the Republic of Indonesia! Long live the Land of Pancasila! Independence! Thank you," Jokowi concluded.
Met after listening to President Joko Widodo's state address, Mayor Habib Hadi gave his comments. "Regions, in facing situations and conditions like this (COVID 19 pandemic), are following and will support the President's direction. We must continue to take a policy that really must pay close attention to the existing situation and conditions. Social and cultural aspects and increasing economic growth are our commitments. Because what we are facing now is being faced by all regions," he said.
Related to the country’s 5.32% decline of economic growth, Mayor Habib Hadi stated his opinion. "It was said that the national economic development was contracted by 5.32%, so we will continue to take steps to encourage and develop the economic sector so that it can rise to face such situations and conditions," he concluded.
