KANIGARAN – Rasa kepedulian yang tinggi muncul di tengah kewaspadaan merebaknya virus korona di Kota Probolinggo. Sejumlah UMKM memberikan bentuk perhatian mereka kepada anggota Satpol PP dan Damkar yang saban hari bertugas di lapangan.
Itu nampak saat apel personil Satpol PP dan Damkar di halaman kantornya, di Jalan Panglima Sudirman, Senin (30/3) pagi. Ratusan minuman herbal terbuat dari empon-empon dikemas dalam botol, snack dan masker kain yang berasal dari UMKM yang tergabung dalam Asosiasi Makanan Minuman Jawa Timur. Komunitas antar ambil barang/mamin offline di Kota Probolinggo pun ikut serta dalam kegiatan ini.
“Kami merasa dilindungi, lalu apa yang bisa kami lakukan? Hanya ini yang bisa kami bantukan sebagai kepedulian kami kepada petugas. Sebagai masyarakat kami merasa terenyuh dengan tugas bapak-bapak ini. Mudah-mudahan setiap ada kegiatan, kami sebagai UMKM ikut berkontribusi,” ujar Zainal Abidin, pelaku UMKM di bidang makanan yang hadir dalam apel.
Ada sekitar tujuh UMKM yang ikut membantu memberikan bantuan dari masing-masing bidang yang berbeda. Berawal dari perbincangan di antara mereka, akhirnya ada yang bersedia memberi botol, membuat minuman, makanan hingga menjahit masker kain yang bisa dicuci dan dipakai kembali.
“Setiap hari kami menyebarkan masker ke masyarakat gratis, ini yang ke empat kalinya kami berikan kepada petugas Satpol PP sebagai ujung tombak yang harus kita patuhi imbauannya. Kami berharap agar Kota Probolinggo tidak menjadi zona merah,” tutur Zainal.
Kepala Satpol PP Kota Probolinggo Agus Efendi mengungkapkan apresiasinya karena ada kepedulian dari masyarakat khususnya UMKM dan komunitas antar ambil barang/mamin yang respek kepada personilnya.
“Sebagai petugas di garda terdepan, Satpol PP dan Damkar ternyata teman-teman komunitas mensupport kami agar tetap sehat dan bekerja dengan baik. Di tengah keterbatasan masker, UMKM membuatkan masker yang bisa dicuci hingga tidak habis pakai,” jelas Agus yang berharap semua personilnya tetap terjaga kondisinya.
Kepada anak buahnya, Agus meminta tidak melihat dari bantuannya tetapi lebih pada sisi rasa atau perhatian dan keikhlasan pelaku UMKM. “Saya mewakili semua petugas Satpol PP dan Damkar sangat berterimakasih atas bentuk partisipasi masyarakat mendukung pemerintah,” seru mantan Kepala Dispobpar yang juga alumni STPDN ini.
Ya, seperti diketahui, dalam penanganan pencegahan COVID 19, kegiatan Satpol PP dan Damkar melakukan patroli ke sejumlah ruang publik setiap hari. Mereka mengimbau masyarakat untuk tidak berkerumun, tetap tinggal di rumah sesuai anjuran pemerintah. (famydecta)
The Small and Medium Entreprises (SMEs) have shown their concern on the personnel of Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) who do their job relentlessly amid the spread of coronavirus in Probolinggo city.
Hundreds of herbal drinks were distributed to the personnel of Satpol PP as they had a roll call at the front yard of Satpol PP office on Monday (30/3). The drinks were made of herbs, packed in bottles. Snacks and masks were also distributed to the personnel. Not only the SMEs, but the community of offline courier in the city has also participated in the social activity.
“We feel safe with the Satpol PP around, and we think about what we can do for them. This is it. We, the people, were touched with that they have done. Hopefully, we can give a contribution in any actions they carry out,” Zainal Abidin, one of the SMEs doers, said in the roll call.
There were around 7 SMEs distributing the aid for the Satpol PP. It was started from a short conversation before they agreed to give the aid including a washable mask.
“We distribute the mask to the people for free every day. This is the fourth time we give the mask to the Satpol PP as the front line in giving education on coronavirus. We hope Probolinggo city would not turn into the red zone,” Zainal said.
The head of Satpol PP, Agus Efendi appreciated the effort of the community, especially the SMEs who respect his personnel for what they have been doing.
“As the front line officers, Satpol PP got supported by the community. Amid the scarce of the mask, they made us the washable masks,” Agus said.
To the personnel, Agus asked them to thanks the community for their concern and sincerity. “I, represent all personnel of Satpol PP, would like to say thanks for the participation of the people in supporting the government,” he said.
As is known, in mitigating the spread of COVID-19, a patrol is carried out by Satpol PP to several public spaces. They urge the people not to visit the crowd, and to stay at home as the government has appealed. (alfien_tr)
