MAYANGAN – Untuk mempercepat deteksi penyebaran COVID 19 di Kota Probolinggo, RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh kini punya PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). Yaitu, sebuah pemeriksaan laboratorium untuk mendeteksi keberadaan material genetik virus corona.
Dimulai hari ini (20/5), alat tersebut sudah melakukan empat pemeriksaan bagi Orang Dalam Pemantauan (ODP) dan Pasien Dalam Pengawasan (PDP). Lab biomokuler PCR itu terletak di ruang minilab lantai 2 poli RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh.
Di operasional pertamanya ini, Wali Kota Hadi Zainal Abidin, Wawali Mochammad Soufis Subri bersama Ketua DPRD Abdul Mujib dan Kasdim 0820 melakukan pengecekan. Nampak juga mendampingi Sekda drg Ninik Ira Wibawati dan Plt Kepala Dinkes dr NH Hidayati.
“Kami patut bersyukur alhamdulillah, di RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh ada alat yang sangat dibutuhkan untuk mempercepat hasil pasien yang ditengarai terpapar COVID 19. Alat ini lebih cepat, insyaallah 45 menit sudah bisa diketahui hasilnya,” ujar Wali Kota Habib Hadi.
Dengan adanya PCR ini, RSUD tidak lagi memeriksakan hasil swab ke luar kota yang memakan waktu 3 sampai 4 hari menunggu hasilnya. “Satu alat ini dalam sehari bisa memeriksa sampai 250 orang,” imbuh wali kota.
Menurut Habib Hadi, apabila seseorang telah di rapid tes dan ada tanda-tanda mengarah ke COVID 19 maka akan di swab. Ia pun mengatakan, RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh siap penerima pemeriksaan dari luar derah karena di daerah sekitar Kota Probolinggo masih belum ada yang punya. Namun perawatan pasien tetap kewenangan masing-masing daerah. “Kalau tes mandiri ada biayanya,” imbuhnya.
Plt Direktur RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh, dr Abraar HS Kuddah menjelaskan alat buatan Korea Selatan yang dimiliki RSUD berplat merah ini khusus mendiagnosa COVID 19. Di dalam alat ini ada dua reagen yang bisa diagnosis apabila di tubuh terdapat virus. Kemudian dipertajam lagi dengan satu reagen tertuju pada adanya COVID 19.
“Alat ini real time PCR. Jadi ada TCM (Tes Cepat Molekuler), ada real time. Real time ini sensitifitasnya lebih tinggi dari TCM. Real time yang bisa menegakkan diagnostik dalam tubuh pasien terdapat COVID 19 dalam waktu 45 menit. Akurasinya 99,99 persen menurut para ahli yang mengesahkan dan menyatakan alat ini boleh beredar,” beber dr Abraar.
Harga alat yang diperkirakan sekitar Rp 1 M itu dapat dimanfaatkan oleh pasien umum yang ingin tes mandiri dengan biaya Rp 1.750.000. “Kalau sudah ODP atau pasien gratis,” ujar dokter spesialis bedah itu.
Tenaga medis yang bertugas di pemeriksaan PCR tersebut terdiri dari dua dokter spesialis patologi klinik, empat analis medis dan dua petugas yang mengambil swab melalui lendir di bawah hidung dan tenggorokan. “Total ada 8 orang,” imbuh dr Boby Mulyadi saat mendampingi dr Abraar. (famydecta)
Regional hospital RSUD dr Mohamad Saleh has now a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test kits to accelerate the spread detection of COVID-19 in Probolinggo city. PCR is a process of a laboratory test to detect the genetic material of coronavirus within a human body.
The hospital has used the equipment to test 4 people under monitoring (ODP) and patient under supervision (PDP). PCR biomocular laboratory is located in the minilab of the RSUD Mohamad Saleh.
Probolinggo Mayor Hadi Zainal Abidin along with other officials monitored the operation of the equipment. “We must be grateful that RSUD Moh Saleh has the most needed equipment to speed up COVID-19 detection. PCR test kit is faster in detecting the virus. It will only need 45 minutes to find out the result,” Mayor Habib Hadi said.
Having a PCR test kit, the hospital no longer needs to check the swab test to other towns which require 3-4 days to have the result. “It can be used for 250 people in a day,” the mayor added.
According to Habib Hadi, if one has undergone a rapid test and shows COVID-19 symptoms, a swab test will be further carried out. He also said the hospital is ready to receive a PCR test for people from other towns because there are no PCR test kits around the city. Yet, patient treatment is still being the region’s authority. “An independent PCR test will be charged,” he added.
Acting Director of RSUD dr Moh Saleh, dr Abraar HS Kuddah explained the equipment made in South Korea is specifically used to detect COVID-19. In the equipment, two reagents can be diagnosed if the virus lies within a body. It will then be strengthened with one reagent showing the existence of coronavirus.
“This is a real-time PCR instead of Rapid Molecular Diagnostic (TCM). It has a higher sensitivity than TCM. Real-time PCR can confirm the diagnosis of COVID-19 suspects in 45 minutes. The experts who have legalized the equipment states its accuracy reaches 99.99% and it can be circulated,” dr Abraar said.
The IDR-1-billion equipment can be used by people who would like to have an independent test by paying IDR 1,750,000.
The on-duty medical workers in the PCR process involve two specialist doctors, 4 medic analyses, and two others who are responsible for taking swab samples. “8 people in total,” dr Boby Mulyadi said. (alfien_tr)
