KANIGARAN – Usai membuka rangkaian kegiatan Refleksi Satu Tahun Kepemimpinan Wali Kota dan Wakil Wali Kota Probolinggo Masa Bhakti 2019-2024, Wali Kota Hadi Zainal Abidin menggelar press release, dihadiri sejumlah awak media yang bertugas di wilayah Kota Probolinggo, di Museum Probolinggo, Rabu (29/1).
Habib Hadi, sapaan akrabnya, kembali memaparkan sejumlah program dan kebijakan yang berhasil terealisasi selama satu tahun. Terkait program Universal Health Center (UHC), ia menyebutkan hingga saat ini memang program tersebut belum meng-cover seluruh warga dikarenakan masalah kelengkapan administrasi.
“Ada 1.160 jiwa yang belum masuk dalam program ini karena mereka masih belum memiliki Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK). Presentasenya sekitar 0,49%. Kita akan upayakan lagi,” ujar Habib Hadi.
Selain itu, 18 unit ambulance juga telah siap diserahkan ke kelurahan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Ia pun berharap agar di tahun ini, 11 unit ambulance lainnya dapat disetujui oleh DPRD setempat mengingat pentingnya sarana ini untuk masyarakat.
Program utama lainnya yang menjadi prioritas adalah pembangunan rumah sakit baru yang rencananya bakal dimulai akhir Maret atau awal April nanti. Habib Hadi menyebutkan, Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah Kota Probolinggo telah rampung dan ini akan memuluskan iklim investasi di Kota Probolinggo.
“Pekerjaan rumah yang selama 3 tahun ini dikerjakan telah rampung. RTRW kota sudah selesai Desember tahun lalu. Dengan begitu, iklim investasi di Kota Probolinggo sudah pasti,” terangnya.
Namun, ia berpesan kepada tiap investor yang bakal menanamkan modalnya di Kota Probolinggo untuk memprioritaskan masyarakat Kota Probolinggo terkait perekrutan tenaga kerja.
“Salah satu persyaratan pengajuan perizinan untuk para investor adalah mereka harus memprioritaskan perekrutan tenaga kerja dari Kota Probolinggo, sehingga dapat mengurangi angka pengangguran. Itu lah kenapa Dinas Tenaga Kerja dilebur dengan DPMPTSP,” tegas Habib Hadi.
Sektor pariwisata juga menjadi program yang diusung pasangan Handal Brilian. Sasarannya jelas, agar Kota Probolinggo tidak hanya menjadi kota transit tetapi menjadi kota tujuan wisata. Saat ini, Pantai Permata Pilang menjadi salah satu destinasi yang tengah dikembangkan.
“Oleh karena itu, saya berharap peran media dapat ditingkatkan dalam hal publikasi tentang Kota Probolinggo. Jangan yang jelek saja yang diberitakan,” harap Habib Hadi kepada sejumlah awak media yang hadir. (alfien)
After opening the event of Reflection on One Year with Probolinggo Mayor and Vice Mayor Period 2019-2024, Hadi Zainal Abidin held a press release, attended by several journalists in the Probolinggo city, at the Probolinggo Museum on Wednesday (29/1).
The mayor, popularly known as Habib Hadi, has again presented his programs and policies that have been completed in a year. Talking about the Universal Health Center program, he said the program has not covered all people yet due to administrative issues.
“We have 1,160 people who have not been covered in the program because they don’t have a citizen's identity number (NIK). It’s about 0.49%, and we are working on it,” Habib Hadi said.
Besides, 18 units of ambulance have been prepared to be handed over to the selected urban villages. He hopes that the budget for the rest 11 ambulances could be approved by the local council DPRD considering the importance of the facility.
Other priority programs in the health sector, the new hospital, would be started at the end of March or in early April. The mayor explained, the city Spatial Planning (RTRW) has been completed and it will ease the investment made in the city.
“Our effort in 3 years had paid off. The city spatial planning has been completed in December 2019. We can say that the investment development in the city would be confirmed,” he said.
Yet, he told all future investors to prioritize Probolinggo people to be their employees.
“With one condition, they will have the business permit when they hire Probolinggo people as their employees so that it will reduce the unemployment rate in the city. That’s why I merged the Agency of Investment and Integrated One-door Service with the Agency of Employment,” he said.
Tourism is another sector being the attention of the mayor. He’d like to have the city to be the main tourist destination, not only a transit city. Permata Pilang Beach is one of the tourist destinations being developed in the city.
“Therefore, I hope the mass media can increase their participation in the city’s publication instead of publishing bad news,” the mayor hopes. (alfien_tr)
