Ya, iring-iringan mobil polisi mengawal mobil box putih milik Biofarma.
(famydecta)
1,480 doses of COVID-19 vaccine arrived at the office of the Probolinggo city’s Health Agency on Monday (25/1) at 9.46 pm. With the arrival of the Sinovac vaccine produced by PT Bio Farma, thousands of healthcare workers will undergo screening on Wednesday (27/1).
This was stated by Probolinggo Mayor Habib Hadi Zainal Abidin who witnessed the arrival of the vaccine with the maximum security of the police. Also witnessing the moment was Regional Secretary drg Ninik Ira Wibawati, Acting Director of the regional hospital, dr Abraar HS Kuddah, and the head of Disease Prevention and Control division Eko Sudiwiharti.
A police convoy escorted the Bio Farma’s white-box car carrying dozens of vaccine boxes that will be distributed to several regions in East Java. Arriving at the yard of the Health Agency office, one of the boxes was brought to a special room at the office.
“Alhamdulillah (Thank God) 1,480 doses of vaccine have arrived. The Health Agency will soon take further steps to carry out the vaccination for healthcare workers,” said Mayor Habib Hadi who was accompanied by his wife.
Based on the data, there would be another 10 government officials injected with the vaccine. Habib Hadi hopes the vaccination can convince the people that the vaccine is safe and they should not trust any hoax.
There are 1,963 healthcare workers, and the vaccination will be carried out gradually. “There will be another delivery. The recipients of the vaccine will be following the Health Ministry Regulation. God willing, a screening will be carried out the day after tomorrow (27/1) before the vaccination takes place,” added the mayor.
Habib Hadi hopes the vaccine arrival in the city will be a good start to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. “It needs togetherness. We have to show the people that the vaccine is safe but health protocols remain a priority,” he said.
Meanwhile, the acting head of Health Agency dr NH Hidayati through the head of Disease Prevention and Control division Eko Sudiwiharti said the agency has appointed 17 health facilities in the city, supported with a decree, to be the location of vaccination.
“The facilities include Community Health Center, supporting Community Health Center, and other health facilities. The vaccines will be given to healthcare workers in three sessions a day; 15 healthcare workers will get shot in a session,” Eko said.
“Why it’s only 3 sessions? Because a 30-minute observation must be carried out after injection. The process will be held simultaneously. Private hospitals in the city will also support the program,” said dr Abraar HS Kuddah who will also be injected with the vaccine. (alfien_tr)
